I work at MDL as a Health & Safety Manager in Swansea since 2003. I support the site with any H&S issues and enjoy the variety and challenges in my role.

I've worked for MPIL group since 1991 and now I am the Head of Publisher & Customer Services at MDL. Exceeding the needs of our publishers and their customers is the key and I enjoy building great relationships with our publishers, customer and colleagues.

We've been working here as Business Administration apprentices since 2017, rotating our time around the business to gain a thorough understanding. Now we have both secured permanent positions in specific departments in MDL. It has been an exciting journey since.

I started at Macmillan in October 2010 in the Swansea warehouse as a standalone Senior HR Advisor. Since then, the time has flashed before my eyes and I've become accountable for MDL HR and its fabulous team across the Swansea and Basingstoke sites. Now, I am an Operations Director, which means I have accountability for the warehouse and the site. This is rather a change in direction for me but really demonstrates the scope and opportunity Macmillan can provide to us as employees.
