Reporting to the Head of Publisher and Customer Services, as a Publisher Services Executive, you will be pivotal in maintaining and developing our publisher relations, ensuring that communication and operational tasks are executed effectively. You will embrace the responsibility of being the primary liaison, resolving queries, attending crucial meetings, and advocating for continuous improvement within publisher services.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for your dedicated publishers, managing correspondence and queries through a task management system
• Oversee the resolution process for any arising issues, escalating to management when necessary.
• Schedule and participate in liaison meetings and conference calls, coordinating with various MDL departments.
• Support the resolution of meeting action points within agreed service levels.
• Manage special, embargoed, and scheduled releases of their titles.
• Continuously improve processes and systems in coordination with publishers and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate records and reports, assisting with stock management and assist in the resolution of pricing and discount queries.

About you

• Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in high-pressure environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to learn new systems.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in client management, data management, and problem-solving is preferred.
• Background in distribution/supply chain, customer service, or complaints handling is a plus.
• Flexibility in working hours and willingness to travel.
• Educated to A level standard or equivalent and GCSEs in Maths and English.
