Management Accountant - 2 years FTC
We are seeking to recruit a Management Accountant to work within our Finance team on a 2-year Fixed term contract to support the business for the duration of an ERP implementation. The overall purpose of this role is to support the Financial Controller with the preparation of financial statements and forecasts, and calculating Publishers charges and payments.
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified Accountant, with experience of working within a finance team and have excellent analytical, excel and customer service skills.
This is a varied and challenging position which will involve:
- Production of the monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet
- Learning and understanding the MDL business to be able to give analytical support
- Financial planning and Analysis
- Ledger and overhead management
- CAPEX management and return on investment assessment
The ideal candidate will have:
- A CIMA or ACCA qualification is essential and CIMA preferred
- Previous experience of working within an accounting environment
- An Intermediate understanding of Microsoft office and an experienced user of excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A very high level of integrity
- A driver’s licence as time will be required at our Swansea site
- Be customer-centric and prioritise good service with both internal and external clients

Hours of work will be 8.30am-4.30pm Monday to Friday in Basingstoke.
