Royalties and Subrights Manager - Basingstoke (Hybrid)

At Macmillan Publishing International Limited (MPIL) we have a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised individual with proven team leadership experience to manage our well established Royalties and Subrights team.
As Royalties and Subrights Manager you will lead a small team of 5 to ensure the accurate reporting and payment of contractual advances and earnings is completed in a smooth and timely manner.
This role sits with our shared services function, serving the publishing divisions of MPIL as well as authors, illustrators and agents. We pride ourselves on our key relationships with internal and external stakeholders and as such, you will need to be a great communicator and collaborator which will go hand-in-hand with your strong analytical focus.
Alongside this, you will need to be able to interpret author contracts to ensure that they are accurately recorded in the royalty system in relation to the contractual terms, data submissions and royalty rules, leading to the preparation of statements and reports.
You will also be responsible for ensuring financial information arising from royalty and subrights transactions is accurately recorded in our accounting system.

Hours of work will be 8.30am-4.45pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30 – 3.30pm Friday.
